I’m done.
Playing on stage and competing at UIL is a PRIVILEGED. I’m tired of people missing every rehearsal and not playing in class or practicing at home and showing up expecting to be flawless. If you don’t care, get. out. I’m so tired of being embarrassed at concerts because kids can’t be bothered to spend a little extra time with the music. If you’re not going to learn the pieces don’t bother showing up to the concert, and please please do not be a part of the group that competes. Some of us actually care what score we get.
